I don't like the cover of this book, but I'm hopeful that I'll enjoy the story. I hope it focuses less on romance and more on the magic and Sirens.
I'm not especially keen on any romance in this story. I wouldn't have thought to read this book based on the cover alone, but the first book was great. Fingers crossed the sequel is too!

I'm going to reread this. Hopefully I can finish in a day or two lol. I'm not a fast reader, so idk if that is even possible. My hold is finally available for book two, but I want to reread the first book before starting the sequel.

I loved this book when I was a kid. It was one of my favorite books from Narnia. Hopefully it stands the test of time. It's been about 15 years since I read it!

I’ve only read the section about Rhaenyra and the dying of the dragons, never the entire book. I’m annotating as well, so this is going to take a while for me to finish.

Chapter 47 just made this go from a five-star read to a four-star read. Ridiculous chapter. Forced drama is so annoying.

I actually enjoy Carley Fortune books, so I am reading her recent release before I take on the nine-book Witcher series! Once I finish this book, I'll start The Last Wish! Can't wait.

These books are all so similar, but they are still entertaining. Mindless fun.

It's time for a guilty pleasure read. I just need something mindless, dramatic and silly. I'm so sick of Kindle Unlimited. I want the subscription to end already.🤣
