This is slow going. I can only read a couple of chapters at time, and then I get bored. 😔

Ok, I'm done!

Second time trying this one, My gosh, it is slow! I'm now one chapter into the "new" stuff, but remembered only a minuscule amount of what I read last year.

Can we move on from the “abusive, crazy Christian parents” trope? I’m so tired of it. And were they really so bad that you quit school, even though you wanted to go to college? I’m finding it hard to sympathize with this woman.

It going great. It’s taken me a few days to get this far. I don’t remember the first book at all and do t feel like rereading.

Almost done. It feels a lot longer than it is!

Uh oh, her matcha just turned into coffee. Not a good start. The authors thank their publisher for rushing this into print. Hopefully, it's just a blip.

This is going very slowly, and I'm listening at 1.25. It is just not compelling to me. I don't care for the way the narrator draws out the last word of every sentence. I find it distracting.

I started this yesterday and it’s not going great. I’m not a Dr. Connie fan. It’s surprisingly boring for a book that takes place in a hospital for the criminally insane. 😏

I apparently took this out of the library a couple of years ago, but have no memory of it 😂 Not loving it, and have been struggling to get though it. I haven’t read it in two days.

Still 13%. I'm finding myself looking for reasons not to listen to this. Not a good sign.

Excellent so far! Stopped because I as busy and wanted to pay attention.

As expected, I think this might have been a mistake. I’ll give it a little longer…maybe.
