I really wish that this book was much more thoroughly edited. I am enjoying the last quarter of it. But it really was a task. No one speaks the way that this dialogue is especially not children and it was less than credible for that reason..

So fun! These books with the premise of a android, traveling the universe talking comfortably with the bots who drive spaceships But he’s very uncomfortable and socially awkward with humans.

It’s okay. Not loving it but I love the author.

The novel is OK. I wish it would talk more about the music industry and less about a teaser of a thread throughout to wonder what’s going on with the man that she is living with.

This historical novel is gripping from the first page. It’s about how the Japanese culture was in 1950s. In the main character is a child of mixed race, Japanese and African-American. They talk openly how usually babies born mixed race like that would’ve just been taken out into the woods and killed.

It’s interesting, and a good mystery but I’m not loving it. It does make good commentary on sexual assault and violence against girls and women in our culture, though.

This is a good historical novel, and it’s enjoyable, because of my growing up near where Frank Lloyd Wright and his wife lived. But other people might enjoy it as well. It’s an interesting concept of the turn of the 20th century what it meant to be a modern woman.

I like it from the very start. It was recommended by both a patient and a psychiatrist at work.

Had to give up on this. Maybe only funny if you are British?

I am slogging through this. It's about Bangkok, and I just bought it there, on vacation, but it's self-published, with unbelievable, shallow characters, and I just want to finish it.

Kind of dumb British humor. But maybe you just have to be British to enjoy it. There’s no dialogue, so I think I won’t finish it

Much more fun than I expected. It’s a fast read and a fun beach read, I’d say.

I am enjoying it. It brings up memories of my best childhood friend as we grew up. It’s set in the era of my youth.

If you love a girl and Poe or Shakespeare and are very familiar with them you might love this book and find it funny. I had to pause on reading it I was bored.

So far because I’m not a big Shakespeare fan it’s not probably nearly as funny as it would be if I was familiar with the plays that I think it is parodying.

I actually have loved this since the preface. I am reading it for work. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and although I’ve heard the Gottmans speak in conferences, I haven’t read this book. And it’s really good and easy to read.

This book is a pre pandemic look at suburban Greenwich Connecticut life for 30-something moms. And it’s a fun sequel to the Devil Wears Prada.

Because I’ve just landed in London tonight I wanted to read a book about a neighborhood and this is just that. It’s so far a light beach reads sort of a thing and it’s really simple, so far.

So far, it is excellent. I appreciate the author and the story.
