Loved the movie, finally got to read the book. The book is a action packed western, I plan on reading the series.

it is very good analysis of the command structure with the army of Tennessee and dealing with the trans-mississippi Department during the Civil War and how Jefferson Davis dealt with each Commander differently

Great book, even though it is dated.

I am on chapter 10 and so far it has been a good read. I got this book to refresh my memory on the pretrib. rapture because now there is a new view of the rapture I hadn't heard of called pre-wrath which is very close to post-trib. I am a pretrib. believer but I always want to be prepared to give an account of what I stand by.

Chapter 3

Great over view of the civil war although the author has certain points that I don't agree with. But I keep an open mind and in those cases we just have to agree to disagree. But it overall is a really great book.

This book is awesome, I am really enjoying how the author goes into detail about the events that led up the war for Southern Indepence.

I have read a lot of good reviews on this book and I have had a copy for awhile now, I think its time to give her a shot.
