It´s entertaining and builds up slowly. I am enjoying it!

Just started this last night and I am hooked!

I am not getting into this story... but I am the type that always finishes a book.

I did not expect it to be funny at the same time as entertaining. Thoroughly enjoying myself.

Nothing is happening... yet.

I don´t know why I thought this was a scary novel, it´s not, but then again it is highly engaging. I like it and can´t wait to see the outcome.

It´s the fourth time that I have read this book. I will probably reread it many times again in the years to come. Some books are just to great to be read once.

I never tire of his poems. They reach right into your soul.

This novel was written by Charles L. Grant under a pseudonym. Right now not a lot has happened, so I don´t have an opinion.

The format in which it is written, without proper grammar guidelines for dialogue, gives it a special interest. You don´t want to stop reading, though really nothing incredible or very interesting is going on. So I think that is master storytelling at its best.

Absolutely amazing!

I´m a little disappointed. The story in itself is good, the writing also, but the author just goes on, and on, and on with pages of descriptions about the main characters thoughts and feelings. I want action, dialogues, things happening, but I´m not seeing any of this. This is the main reason I became an author myself, to not have to keep reading novels with endless descriptions.

Just started this and I am already super happy with it!

I have already cried two times. Maybe this novel reaches me because I am at the same age group as the two characters, and I know from experience how hard life can be. But I feel that it is a beautiful book and will continue to make me emotional at times.

I don´t think it is possible for J.D. Barker to write something that I don´t love. I am absolutely hooked!!!!

I just started this novel and I am hooked!

I wasn´t going to ever read another book by this author, but it turns out I had bought this one many months ago and I didn´t remember. So here goes another dark academia story, which is very entertaining, if it wasn´t filled again with sex (porn almost). Yes, I know, I´m an older woman and it´s not my thing anymore, but for those young things out there that dream of these kinds of situations, it´s for you.

What can I say, I love spy novels.

From what I have read so far, these seem like cozy mystery reads. Entertaining but for right now, nothing more.

Very engaging, the characters interesting, though I´m still not sure where the story is headed. For right now I give it three stars, but I feel that it will be more further on.

La novela es entretenida, pero me estoy dando cuenta de que sigo cansada del policíaco/asesino en serie tipo de libro. Seguramente he leído de más de este genero al igual que me ocurrió con el genero de espías/guerra fría.

Just started it and it´s like going to visit family that you love.

I have been waiting months for this book. So excited to finally start the new Charlie Parker novel.

This book is just getting better and better, and I am not a fan of fantasy!! But the story is captivating. I just hope that it will spark my interest till the end. For right now it has danger, romance, witchcraft (good and bad) and a heroine that must face terrible obstacles to save her family.

So far it is very interesting, reminds me a bit ot the Mists of Avalon.
