DNF- the storyline itself was interesting and I really wanted to get into it, but I just couldn’t handle the writing style. It was awkward and confusing. 🫤 I got about halfway through the book and I still didn’t have a grasp on what was going on.

Had to DNF before I even finished the first chapter. The father of down syndrome 12 year old girl emails the teacher saying he doesn't want his daughter to be learning sex ed & birth control. The teacher tells him nope, he doesn't get a say!? So many issues with this opening set up. I can just tell I'm not going to agree or like the "voice" of this author.

I tried but finally gave up at 64%. Boring and just couldn’t get into it.
