I found it very interesting to hear Winkler’s story in his own words. He shares a fair amount about his struggles getting work after Happy Days, a lot about his acrimonious relationship with his parents and battle with dyslexia, and opens up pretty candidly about his personal relationships with his family and co-workers.

Kokoris wrote a wonderful first novel. The dialogue is solid and the character development of the kids is well done. The Civil War trio is a bit contrived, but a really enjoyable read. I like his books. I think more people should read them.
