I had actually forgotten just how quickly and how drastically everything goes to shit in this book. SERIOUSLY. SO. EFFING. EARLY.

In the mood to reread this via audiobook because apparently I'm a masochist.

Ugh, not gonna lie... I'm a little bit bored. And that's why it's taking me so long to read. Gonna persevere; I love the atmosphere, setting and the world.

So much is happening and yet I am still SO CONFUSED. 'Harrow the Ninth' was easier to follow than this.

As per usual, I have no idea what’s going on 😂 Am doing this one via audiobook (in an attempt to get to it faster) and the narrator is so good!

The parallels between Leo and Orso throughout this book are just so well done. Everything that made this book fun the first go around is what's making it book so hard for me to get through the second time! I am in pain!

Well, this is horrific.

Oof this is a heavy read.

My mind is completely rebelling against fantasy at the moment so I’ve decided to pick up horror. This is an ARC for Grimdark Magazine so I need to bang it out with a review anyway, ideally before publication date, so being on the trauma.
