We're not done with it yet, but our local bookstore owner got an A.R.C. of this one (since she'd seen how we've been gobbling up the first four). We hadn't finished #4 when we got #5, so didn't get to read it as early as we had it.... Update: we're almost done, and we got our official copy: it's nice having all the illustrations and projects. In fact, I just did the grappling hook with my two youngsters. Fun. :-)

like that eBook allows me to listen while going to/from work, but I still think it's slower than reading the print book, for me. 18 chapters (of 32) in, and it still hasn't connected significantly to the story arc of the first three books. It's a good story, but I would like more connection, as I mostly grabbed the fourth because of the arc-cliffhanger in the third.

I'm a huge Lawhead fan, and finally bought his Riverbank Kindle editions, now that the kids have started paying attention to chapter books. We started reading this during our Thanksgiving trip, but the kids didn't seem as interested in it as other books we brought. Probably with an eBook and my small device, they cannot "look at the book" while I read. I hope we'll finish some day.

I haven't included the books I read with the kids, as it would overwhelm my reading list (we read together nearly every night). But I decided to include interesting chapter-books, and will move them into "kids" instead of "read" when we complete them. (Don't want to skew my 2015 reading challenge count)
