Once again, Kitamura is a prose genius.

AGONY CHRIST ALIVE

Had finally gotten a copy after being sent originally an AI version, YIKES, and then it took months to receive from the library because I kept missing my pickup window due to travel or it being on hold for someone else. Never had I worked so hard to get a hold of a book.
Felt almost discouraged and uninterested in reading it-SORRY ROSE- Then, picking it up last night, I flew through 50 pages! Compulsively readable.

this is my kind of novel: every other line is nonsense, the reviews are awful because reading it is slightly tiresome, it takes a good amount of exigence to get into because it doesn't even look like a novel.
But then, once you do, its PURE color baby. Just brainwaves and vibes all the way through.
