This is veering into too stupid to live territory 😒 I hope Aubrey redeems himself. The way he is treating his new boyfriend is a shining example of how not to do it. "Yes dad." 😣
And what is it about cell phones in this story? Their main function is not as a torch. You don't have to go anywhere to call with them.

At the beginning I thought this was an m/f romance, where they had just changed the f by an m, Rudy. Now I think Rudy, the main character, is mentally about 12 years old. Disturbing in light of the hot sex he's been having. That guy isn't just too stupid to live, but too stupid to have been born. I hope he has some redeeming qualities in the second half of the book.

The language and mood is more gay literature than m/m romance.
