The book was okay. Perhaps I would have rated it higher if I had the need to forgive someone for some grievous act. There is a wide variety of situations included in the book, but one I expected was missing. . . Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt's forgiveness of her father. That was not mentioned in the book.

Not my favorite book. Three generations of tragedy made for a disturbing read. At the end, you can't be sure that the one beacon of hope ever got an opportunity to shine.
