Slow beginning. I hope it gets better.

The author's treatment of Simon Peter is quite disturbing to me.

I am reading this book without reading the "Gospel of Judas" first. Many of the author's interpretations are quiet bothering and not in line with the accepted Gospels. I will try to finish it even with these triggering statements.

The story is really taking off now. A bit slow in the beginning for my taste.

Eight chapters in and I am totally enchanted.
