I often feel like Karin Slaughter writes like a middle aged man in the 1970s who low key hates women. Or she has some sort of very deeply ingrained internalized misogyny?

Part 2 chapter 9 14:57 left in audio book. Becoming a bit of a snooze. Women are not property Roland get over it.

Just some things that have made it a bit confusing for me - there’s a lot of secondary characters that I have trouble keeping straight. Also, so many outposts and border towns I can’t remember which ones have been mentioned and are important or what is new information. There’s just a lot happening. Also cant remember what Xaden & Violet’s problem is.

I lost the book. I hope I find it so I can finish it
