i am back and i have been influenced by the internet

i need to reread both books before i start fate and fury, i don't remember anything

i might dnf this idk, there isn’t a single thing i like about it?? the characters have zero chemistry, they are sharing their deepest trauma and their family secrets with each other after having like two short conversations, and literally everything falls flat because the book is trying way too hard

i’m waiting for the actual haunting maybe that will make it better

so far i am Not Impressed

if i have to learn this entire godforsaken book i’m gonna make sure it’s added to my gr challenge rip

this is the WORST WRITING I have ever seen in a published book

wow this HURTS

ngl i'm tempted to dnf

at this point the only thing that would make this book better is if it was gay

i'm gonna be honest, stroud is one of my favourite writers but the skull has more personality than lockwood or lucy

oh god i have a horrible feeling about where this is going, and a part of me wants to be wrong about it because ew, but also i kind of like it as a plot twist?? we'll see what happens

This is an outstanding book, i can’t stop reading it but for the sake of my own mental health i’m gonna take a break now and do something else for a while

DNF @ 37% because the pacing kills me and i don't care about anything that's happening in the book

i'm kind of mehh about this, which is truly a shame

I’m very excited about this but it’s 1 am and i’m kind of spooked?? which is a nice surprise because i don’t usually get scared when i read

Anyway, i can’t wait to read this tomorrow, during the day, when i’m not sleepy and it isn’t dark outside lol

first of all, WHAT JUST HAPPENED I'M- speechless?? second of all, i would love to rant about how the real villain here is the system that allows the existence of people like goddard in positions of power but i have a feeling that this is about to get much worse so i'm just... taking notes for now

anyway give me 120 more pages of just kell and alucard throwing shade at each other, it’s so much FUN
