I’m not sure about this one. The telling is a modern idea of “realistic“ so several supernatural elements have already been left out or glossed over from the older tellings. I’m trying to withhold judgment until I see where it goes… But Heracles (Hercules) and Jason really should be larger than life, Not normal relatable dudes.

It keeps getting better— and also worse!

It’s very enlightening.

Loving this book as much as ever. This time I’m reading along with the The Literary Life podcast so I’m understanding more than ever. I highly recommend this book and that podcast!

Feverishly devouring this book— until I ran out of Spotify hours 😭Back to waiting on that hold to come in.
