I'm having a hard time reading this. It's not a new book by any means. Bella is instead a boy and Edward is a girl. All the other characters have switched genders too. The book is boring. It's not working. Beau's character is falling flat. So is Edyth.

At this point, I think they should rename the book to the family of selfish jerks. These family members of Cassie's disgust me. I'm hoping they all realize how disgusting and selfish they are before the book ends. I'm struggling listening to this as I hear how unreasonable this family is.

Let me state, NEVER get the audiobook. I borrowed this from the library. There aren't many audiobook readers I dislike, this one is on the top of my list. While listening I can only think of the Cost 103.5 radio station DJ...which I can't stand. The cover only says "Read by Delilah" no last name. I still want to finish the book. It's hard listening when you keep thinking she's going to break into a commercial break.

I have decided not to finish this book. After reading reviews and taking into account the affair, murder and what a lot of readers have deemed explicit sex scenes, I will pass.

Have you ever started reading a book and in the first chapter you get a feeling you might not like this book? In the very first chapter a woman kills a man. knowing this is about a woman who has an affair I can only assume the woman is killed her husband. Is this a book I really want to finish? I already have moral issues with the affair, but a murder too? Have to think on this one...

It is really taking me forever to finish this. I find that the French in this book frustrating. Why would the author put so much fresh in the book and not translate any of it? I really love Jane Eyre. She is such an honest, straight forward woman. I love it!

Poor Jane. The funny thing about this novel (so far) is that it seems that if Jane was born today she would fit in quite nicely and be just a normal girl. How times, images and expectations have changed.

Note to self and anyone else who decides to read this. Read the prequel books before beginning this book. So far great book but there are so many references to the previous book and I just can't remember the exact way things turned out or everything that happened in the previous books. So, I guess I'll be re-reading them soon in my near future.

Great book so far. Contimplating buying it so I can reference and remember techniques. Not everything applies to me and my kids but the things that do, could hopefully change my kids arguing and pestering each other. Let's hope. Very quick read.

I picked this up knowing nothing about it. This book is extremely slow to get started. The author uses single quote instead of the double and it's hard to tell when someone is speaking or just thinking something. Maybe this would be a much easier read for me if I didn't look at all the things I found wrong. I still want to give it a chance regardless.
