Not my usual type at all, but holding my interest so far. Too many references to popular music of the time though, I lived through the time period, but was the mother of 3 young teens at the time & teaching full time, so really didn’t give a shit about what music was trending then.

I’m trying this book again after putting it down a few years back. So I’m much further along this time and am enjoying a lot of the writing but I absolutely HATE every single character. I end up being mad when I put the book down for a break and thinking about the douchebag moves these characters make keep me up at night.
