Every Dog Has It’s Day by Bryan Smith - Didn’t like the writing in this one, but the bit with the dark man was pretty good. 2⭐️

Bright Light City by Meg Gardiner - 3.5⭐️

The Tripps by Wrath James White - Loving the variety of stories so far already and how authors seem to relish getting nasty in this. 3.5⭐️

Room 24 by Caroline Keynes - Opening up with this is a CHOICE. Very reminiscent of the nastier character narratives King has written in the past. 4⭐️

hmm okay things have picked up here and there, we're at an interesting turning point for the characters. do i care about them? not really. but i guess i can continue on for a bit to see what the story does with them.

i should have known better...gonna push through for a bit more but i don't have high hopes for my own taste in fantasy vs what this is doing. those who love this type of book are gonna LOVE IT though.
