Does anything not depressing happen in this book?

Not enjoying the main character at all. She’s kind of just horrible.

Really slow moving. Dunno if I can finish. Apparently I just read part 1 and it was 280+ pages and all that happened was a body was found.

This might be good if it was edited to remove all the lust. Every male trying to woo the main female? She has crushes on them all? Dumb. Completely distracts from the rest of the story.

Holy moly this is terrible. The Chameleon Assassin books must have been written by a different person, yes?

Kinda bored...it's dragging so far. I assume there's some action coming up? I hope?

Once again I fell victim to a large number of high ratings. This book is incredibly dumb so far. Small town folk obsessed with marrying off the singles. The interactions between the characters are definitely lacking something. The idea for the plot is good, the execution was lame. Unlikely to finish.

Grr. Pet peeve: men who threaten to pull women over their knee for spanking. WTF? Not. A. Turn on.

What a turd of a book. Not finishing. The plot is nonsensical, the main character is written so poorly. I can't believe how bad this is.

How is this the same author of the Fever series?!? The characters suck...Adrienne...man she is whiny, uninteresting....ugh. Too many plot holes.

So bored...why is this so highly rated? Nothing has happened. She's got emotional issues revolving around guilt over her dead sister. That's it. Where's the plot? Is she going to continue the crazy up-and-down for the rest? Nah, I'm done.
