Despite the frivolous cover and title, the writing is well done + there is a unique premise to the plot. I’m actually enjoying the slow burn for once because I equally respect the characters.

This book is not good

A lot of telling and not enough showing.

It feels like the story is mostly filler. I believe the plot could be resolved half the page count if the characters actually learned from their experiences in the first 2 books
