I was confident at first when I set my Reading Challenge to 15 books but when I started 1Q84 a few months back I knew that I was totally f***ed and I'm not wrong. I still have a loooong way to go before I finish that book!

I'm dying to finish this book already but I keep dosing off after a few pages. :( On the flipside, it's sorta helping me with my insomnia. LOL

Ahhh... so now they realize that they're inside the Major's imagination!

I'm starting to get irked with Albert Knag's antics on Sophie and Alberto but I'm also interested on knowing how in the world did he write a message inside an unpeeled banana?!

I'm going on a 4-day vacation soon and I'm bringing two of the books I'm currently reading. Hopefully I'll be able to read at least half of both of the books. :)

I'm not a big fan of ebooks but because most of the novels I want to read are not available in the bookstores here, it's gonna be my final resort. :(

I'm in a reading slump and it's taking me forever to finish this book! >.< Must get back on track.

Also, Joe Napier is a hero. I cried when he died.

I'm a little bit bored with the pace Jack and Talia's "friendship" is going but I'm still determined to finish their story. I need to know what will make Jack love the rebellious out-of-place princess of Euphrasia.

Jack and Talia finally met but I don't feel their chemistry yet.

It has been 7 days since I opened this book but I've only reached page 40. Honestly, I'm having a hard time absorbing what's happening in the story and I keep re-reading whole paragraphs because I end up reading a whole page without grasping a single thing! All I know is, Adam Ewing has parasitic worms flowing through his bloodstream and he's not 100% proud of the fact that he was able to save the life of Autua.

It crushes my heart to read about David's bargaining with the universe to bring his mother back but Primrose's effortlessly ragged personality keeps him distracted enough to forget his unreasonable hate for his Nana.

I'm enjoying the sibling relationship between Primrose (13) and David (9) so much. :) It's refreshing to read something about friendship that I'm sure will not bloom into romance. But... who knows?

Ever since I started reading the book, I can't stop myself from seeing Reeve Carney as Dorian Gray even though in Penny Dreadful, Mr. Gray is far more disturbing. ;)
