I'm gonna finish this, but...I'm hating the world it's set in. Yes, steampunk DID ruin neo-Victoriana for me, at least for the time being, and the nano-technology therein reminds me too much of Superman: capable of anything and devoid of interesting conflicts. I guess that will change, but in the meantime, snoooooooze

I'm apparently reading The Sprawl trilogy in reverse.

Why does this sequel have to be so disappointing so far? Also, who likes the idea of Mark Twain becoming a conflicted naked man running an industrial revolution?
