A ještě se přidává k objektifikaci žen, když vypráví o tom, jak je sice jeho sekretářka stará a šeredná, ale na druhou stranu je šikovná! Má cenu doufat, že se to na konci knihy změní?

Ok I don't have anything against the idea that 20+ yrs old woman hasn't kissed anyone yet (and done anything else I guess), but this reads like fanfic for 15 yrs old. Also, her obsession with childhood crush is mildly concerning. She knew MMC between her 10 and 15, so not fully developed brain. Yet she still kind of thinks they should start where they left of? But also she wants him to see that she changed?

Since the Silver elite and other books that were exposed to be written with the help of an AI I'll always consider the possibility that a mediocre book was simply written by AI. Yes, this one is mediocre. It's fun for sure, but sometimes it doesn't make sense and some things are very poorly written.

I feel like this is going to be DNF. I'm loosing interest in the romance very quickly and the intimacy here is just too weird for my taste.

Uhm to go without an army or even a handful of guards to see a queen that was branded as mad multiple times and to expect her to be friendly and welcoming is outright stupid. I mean, she allied with the man who betrayed mMC. This is the second time the MCs walked right in somewhere they really should not, unprepared for the worst case scenarios (the prison island was the first). I would expect more from them.

Wow that escalated quickly. The darkest turn I've read in a Christmas romance book, maybe ever. This started like a fluffy romance, but it now feels so real my heart was breaking while reading all the situations the fMC had to go through. The sexual harassment is especially nasty. I seriously wanted to punch a fictional person.

Zatím pořád vizuál převažuje nad obsahem. Nápad na příběh není špatný, ale fake dating trošku pokulhává (za mě jsou nonkonsensuální pusy zejména v YA romantikách absolutně out a čte se mi to docela nepříjemně). Problémem pořád zůstává white room syndrome, který by šlo vyřešit větou navíc.

What the hell is this book? It feels like it was written by someone with ADHD on a meth. Or magic mushrooms. Or both. It is good and bad at the same time. It's cringy and also deep and mature. How is it even possible?

Oh my, this is so poorly written. I mean, it was some time ago that I've read my last romantasy, but I don't remember the writing being so bad for this genre. I like the world that KG created and the idea behind the story, but that execution is very amateurish. I keep reading it only because I'm genuinely curious about the story.
