Totally saw the White Martian reveal coming!!! Didn’t see Alfred being J’onn though!! Well, until he said “I didn’t know they were coming.” I said out loud “oh I have a prediction,” next panel it was proven correct

I knew that “last survivor of a war” line would come back around

My guess has been Martians (they can shapeshift). It could be another group of shapeshifters but…they come from the stars so…

Oh wow. Joker and Luthor being the same person is…a crazy choice. Makes sense though. I wonder about the Lantern ring and how it actually functions in this universe. Normally a corrupting influence would be more an orange lantern thing

Making Bruce and Kal-El half brothers is a fascinating choice! It also has the unique narrative bonus of making Bruce susceptible to Kryptonite since he’s half-Kryptonian

Trying to knock out some of these shorter books I’ve had on my tbr for a while

Starting it off with Galactus being the cause of Krypton's destruction??? PERFECTION

The only thing that has rubbed me the wrong way about this last chapter is how callous Reed was written in response to Ben’s waking up. Ben even comments on how he doesn’t seem relieved or concerned at all — but in the film Reed hugs him and is genuinely happy and there’s obvious relief at Ben being up and seemingly alright. His obvious care for people is part of what I love about the 2005 version of Reed

The author’s writing style is excellent so far! Thoroughly enjoyed the first chapter
