Took a break from romantasy for this one due to the movie coming out. I’d bought & borrowed it before but never wanted to dive into it due to the warnings of how heavy it is emotionally. I gave away the other copies so I secured this book for a third time in my life and finally read it. Gut punch every chapter. Triggering for many reasons. I didn’t see the end coming and I’m starting the sequel now w/ hope.
