I've been wanting to read this for a couple yrs and finally bought it. I'm a little over halfway and I love it. Middle age housewives that create a book club mostly involving thrillers and true crime. They do everything for their families like it's still 1950 instead of 1988. When some strange occurrences are happening in their small town they start sleuthing to find out if what one of them thinks is really true.
