I cannot tell you how bored I am rn, but I hear it gets better.

DNF

I am simply, so utterly fed up. the characters feel so one dimensional, and the attempts to make them more in depth feel so forced. The drama feels forced, the conflict feels forced.
The main couple were supposed to be having a heart to heart (I think?), but it just felt like they were trying to one up each other’s trauma.
I really wanted to like this one because the FL Edition is pretty. But I think I’m dnfing

This was very good, until it very quickly wasn’t.
DNF at 82% is tragic

I’m sorry but this is an entirely different set of characters since the first book. I noticed as soon as I started the second book that it felt like a tone changed, and now even more so. This might have to be a dnf, or put on hold.
