I enjoyed this. Feisty heroine, dark brooding “boy-king”. Some great characters. They tugged at my heartstrings a bit. Romance without the explicit sex scenes that make my eyes roll. I stumbled across this book on Libby & am going into book 2 of the duology straight away.

Good 3.5 stars. Another somewhat foolish ‘heroine’ knocks it down a star mainly because it irritated me. Very interesting magical world featuring the Fates - a rather loosey-goosey take on Greek & Roman mythology. Fun read - I made quick work of it. Lost another 1/2 star because of the ending ugh. The author just pushes you off a cliff & now we are all in line to read the next book.

I will give this a try, not sure why - I hated 50 Shades. This will be my last attempt at this type of storyline if it sucks. 50 pages & then I decide....

Hmmm - the "heroine" is irritating me. The hunky "too beautiful" for words leading man clearly has issues and... He keeps running his hands through his "unruly auburn hair like some kind of freakin underwear model. I am waiting to see if Ana is going to sell herself short...

Am just starting but not too enthused. Not sure why. Have to read it for book club though so here goes...
