This one got over into my moms car and it is currently riding around about 80 miles south of me. I hope to get it back this week and finish it up.

I just cannot seem to find myself liking this book enough to keep reading it. I see it sitting there and I say "meh.... not today". I will eventually finish it

I had to set this one aside. I just cannot get into it. I made it to chapter 3 and am just not impressed with any of it. I will give it another go shortly and see if I can figure out what all the hype is about. I want to like it because I love his other stuff....just not this.

I made it to chapter 3 or 4 and stopped. I keep hearing what a great and funny book this is but I am not seeing it. I just don't know about it at all. I usually love Mark Childress but I was not feeling it in this book. Maybe I will be able to pick it up and start again in a few weeks and see what happens.

I have had this one on my Kindle for a while and am just now getting around to reading it. So far, it is pretty good.

I received an ARC copy in exchange for a review. So far, this book has sucked me in and I cannot wait to get home and read more.

It isn't that I have stopped reading this book......my daughter borrowed it and has not returned it yet....lol. I am hopefully going to get it finished this weekend.

Cute story. I enjoyed the development of the dalton ship between Mabbot and Wedgewood. And the food he cooked sounded amazing. Not one thing I wouldn't devour.

I just grabbed this off my shelf and am 20 pages in. So far, it is great! I have a feeling that I will sit up tonight to finish this one

Have not been able to pick this up and continue this week. Every time I think about it, I just realize I can't concentrate on it that much. Maybe later this week I will get back to it.

This book looked interesting and I love this era of history. However, I am not a big fan of biographies so this one may take me a while to get through. So far, it has been interesting and not too dry

I am so intrigued to see how this book turns out. I think I know what is happening and then something else changes my mind and I am back to being unsure.

I am having trouble getting started on this one. I have read a bit of it and just cannot pick up the rhythm. I will give it a try again tonight and see what happens.

I have this on my phones me and pick it up when I am waiting at the doctor or just want to read something light and fast. It is pretty cute and I am enjoying her wild trip to Paris

I am finding this a slow read, although not tedious. It is taking a long time to get into the meat of this story but I am enjoying the journey. I really do want to know what is going to happen next even though it is slow going

Just started this one tonight. Only on page 12 and it seems like this one may take me a while. I may be wrong but so far, it seems a bit wordy and hasn't really grabbed my attention 100%. Hoping it gets better.

I have read off an on for the past hour or so. So far, it is pretty good. Maybe a little slow. It seems to be building to something big and keeps saying that something is coming. But the getting there is somehow slow. I am hoping the speed picks up or the character telling the story gets a little less whiny and clingy. That is a bit annoying.

This book just sounds like it is going to be a good one. I may not get anything done this week after all since I cannot quit reading....lol

It makes me so sad that people were so sure of themselves and refused to let their pride take a hit. They just plowed along with the wrong information and refused to see anyone else's viewpoint on the storm. If just one of these people had stopped and listened, the death toll could have been much lower.

As with his other books, I was hooked from the first sentence. I know what is going to happen and yet, I still have the need to read every single word and absorb every word and feeling. He is so good at building up the main event.

Maybe it is because I am reading A Little Siren on my iPad, but the flow is not as good. It seems choppy and goes from one paragraph about one character to the next character with no indication that is what is happening. It seems like you HAVE to read Cinderella to even understand half of the references. A lot of the how's and whys about the different countries were explained there.

Thought I should update. Has been almost 7 months since I picked up this book and read out of it. I tried....I really did. Oh well, maybe at the 12 month mark I can say I have read it. SO BORING and ANNOYING.
