John Merryman is 75% done with A March of Kings (The Sorcerer's Ring, #2)
For all of those authors out there trying to write epic novels: do it like this! Nice small books (250 - 300 pages) that don't require your readers to commit to 600+ pages of what could be the worse choice in their lives. Enjoying the series, looking forward to what I hope is the ending.

Terrible ending. If Mr. Baldacci was looking to leave his reader upset, he succeeded. The way it ended goes against the main characters' personality - meaning that there was no way she (Mace) would do nothing.
