So... i needed some brain bleach and only read the spicy chapters. By book 4 I realised I might be invested in the plot, but decided to skip book 1. Now I have fomo and am reluctantly reading book 1 *after* 2 and 3.

Why why why am i reading another #Virals book ?!?
Because i wanted to give KR a chance. I thought her first YA book was a miss. The library had book 4 in stock. I want to like it, i really do... But I don't.
Most cringeworthy so far - the not-so-casual name dropping of popular shows, movies, comics , music. Trying too hard to relate to you audience?

Can honestly say that I enjoyed the movie a lot more than the book. I only got through 1/3 of it. I just couldn't anymore.

only 10% into the book, but loving the references! I despised Pride and Prejudice, and wham! it's in the book. although I know there is an Isaac Newton reference in there, I had to google Woolsthorpe (manor).

hmmm, not really intrigued. I swear, if it turns out her friend Janine hit her with the car I refuse to finish this book.

this book might be twice it's original thickness by the time I finish. I've left it outside on the tractor overnight - the dew affected it a bit. Then my little alchemist poured water over it.

slow read, feeling predictable... lets hope I'm guessing wrong.

I find myselfd laughing often while reading this book. Not at it's attempt at humour, but at the completely absurd track these stories are going down. i enjoyed the first 5, maybe 6 books. But it's bordering on crazy now.
