I flew through the first 3 books and now I’ve hit a stagnate. I’m kind of bored. Ugh. Not much has even happened. They keep having the same arguments. The bonding is just kind of brushed over even though that’s what we’ve been anticipating the whole series. There have been many missed opportunities for some spicy moments. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Still. So. Boring.

Geeze. Over halfway thru & nothing has happened except for the mc painted her bedroom. I’m so bored.

Please tell me it gets better. A 19 year old talking like this? It’s so cringy.

I’m reading the boxed set pg 658/1119. I am SO UPSET!! I fell in love with the first two books, but I hate this book so far!!
Why is she apologizing to Jed for slapping him?? Why is she eavesdropping on her parents and Jed’s parents taking shit about her? Grow tf up woman! Put your foot down. Where the hell is Henry? This book is basically about abbi allowing everyone in her life to demean her. 😤

Sorry, it was just a little too poorly written for me to finish it. Not enough conversations, the main character decided to stay with two strange men that just forced a life altering change on her and she’s only had about 2 conversations with.... And the bit about her knowing that Colt was the wolf? Too unrealistic for me, even for fiction.

Oook, it’s be nice if things would pick up. Lol

Plot twist! That I honestly saw coming from the beginning of the book, but still good. ;)

So I’m totally engrossed in this world, but I’m ready to move on to other books. I’m actually having a hard time finishing now. 🙄

Ok, I’m actually enjoying this one.

I got this book at the dollar tree about 2 months ago without realizing it was the second book in the series. (Just a different POV). I set it down and haven’t picked it back up. I plan on finishing it, just haven’t done it yet.

As if the author knew it was difficult to like Sofia and Derek together, somehow she has managed to change my mind. I don’t know how. Despite knowing. They still keep slaves and still kidnap and murder innocent people, but I’m starting to appreciate the history of the Shade. I am actually Having a hard time putting the “book” down. 🤷🏻‍♀️

🤔 I can’t make up my mind about this series! Ben is the only character making any sense. I don’t understand Sofia’s infatuation with Derek. I’m thinking she has some major mental issues to make her miss the place where she was kept as a slave???

Loving this so far!

My heart hurts. This is not what I expected from this book.

I have to say, I'm getting quite annoyed with the love triangle.

I love Ira and Sophia's stories separately, but I dislike that they are sporadic throughout the book. As soon as I really get into Ira's story, Sophia pops up and vice versa. I hate to say it, but I doubt Ira's story could stand alone though.
