The further I get in this story, the less I like Beth. And I need to like the main character in order to enjoy a book. I’ve started skimming, so I can’t cancel get through it and find out what happened. Not that it’s objectively bad - if really isn’t - but it’s just not for me.

Interesting but all the theory really slows it down (I can’t follow a lot of it, which makes me feel dumb), so I’ve started skimming.

This is soooo boring. I’ve heard that it really picks up in the last 1/3, but I don’t want to read 200 more pages to get there.
