Arnetta is reading The Golden Angel: 1922 (The House of Winslow, #26)
What an amazing book! It followed a young, struggling girl in Africa to America where she becomes a smart businesswoman and pilot. Will she find true love along the way or just find herself?

Arnetta is reading Titanic Love Stories: The True Stories of 13 Honeymoon Couples Who Sailed on the Titanic
This was a second time read - interrupted by other books. True stories of 13 couples on their honeymoons. In addition to showing the lives behind some of the numbers - this book gives so many facts and pics of the Titanic. Menus for the diff classes an example. Awesome reading.

Arnetta is reading Leaving Before the Rains Come
Really interesting book. Involves a lot of soul sesrching and self discovery. She spends 1st hslf of life in Africa - full of war, danger and adventure. Next 20 years spent in America in a culture foreign to her. Its more than a different way of life - its different attitudes toward every aspect of life, the emotions of life. Quite fascinating!!

Arnetta is reading Not Without Courage (Shadowcreek Chronicles #3)
Loved it. Lots of history woven with personal struggles and strength. Plus, I feel better knowing the author owns 300 books just on the Civil War. My collection not so bad now.

Arnetta is reading The Long Journey Home
A good book. For me, it was a different type of suspense novel than I'm used to. It's not until chapter 7 that something happens to start the 'suspense' part - then rather vaguely. Despite the slow start it was a good read: well written with wonderful characters you love or hate.
