This main character is upsettingly relatable.

"Maybe it was like fertilizer; maybe all the earth really wanted was worms, bile, and blood."

I loved the core trilogy of this series growing up and was ecstatic to see this hit my library's shelves. So far, it seems to be closer to an extended ending of the third book rather than a true sequel. It does focus on two of my favorite "side" characters in the series, and I'm excited to see it expand upon their relationship.

Can't stop thinking about this story, but I need to read some overdue library books before I can come back to it :/

Going from First person to Third person perspective keeps throwing me off but loving the story being formed
