Way more than I was expecting from a book. The relationships, the dual timelines perspectives and family road trips all tied in. So well written.

I enjoy a coming of age story and this one happens to Arthur at age 69 after his wife’s death. I enjoyed it overall, but some of it felt rushed and a little far fetched, but the message and characters were good.

Really cool and unique concept, twists I didn’t see coming but felt like the concept could have been explored more and made the book better. I was also annoyed that the main character despite the knowledge of each length of her relationship decided to sleep with every single one anyway. I still enjoyed the book overall and recommend you listen on audio if you choose to read it.

I just loved Vera’s character and I really enjoyed this book. 4.5 ⭐️
