This is the first book I've read by Brad Meltzer. I enjoyed the thriller with all the twists and turns. I especially liked the father-son angle of violence, abandonment, and murder strung through the superman story and all the way back to Adam-Cain-Abel in the bible.

The tragedy of a gunshot didn't make Malala. Malala was already a brave young girl who advocated for her fellow young people. But the Taliban gunshot, instead of cowering her silence and to abandon who she was born to be, it gave her a wider platform. The tragedy gave her an opportunity way bigger than she had dreamed of before.
A good read for young people and parents, because every X-factor needs nurture.
