This book is not at all what I expected 😩 Dunno if I can even finish it

Still pushing through, boys and girls, still pushing through. Constantly getting distracted with other books, but we’ll get there 😂

After reading reviews by people I follow I refuse to buy this book 😅 BUT still want to give it a chance - so the library would do!

Interesting clinical cases so far, turns out I know very little about how our brains interact with music 📚

Last time I read Sacks, he was still alive.. It’s time I go back to my list! First stop - music and metanoia.

Ohhmmyyggooodd, it drags on and on and nothing happens 😩

Almost DNF, came back to it months later, the plot seems to pick up a bit towards the end 🤞🏻

Finally starting the annual goal I’ve been planning for a while - one monster book (at least 1,000 pages) per year. Let’s see how it goes! Probably won’t hit my other target anyway 😂

The book hasn’t aged well considering how racist it is. I dunno about blacklisting such books but I’m not finding it very pleasant to read. Also hate to think what it must be for any BAME person to pick it up after hearing it’s a “classic” and read all this crap…
