I'm really wanting to love this book, one of my fave authors for sure, but I'm really struggling with the constant lesson in Yorkshire dialect. Maybe if I was American I wouldn't care. I have family in Yorks. My parents are from there. It's just getting a bit irritating that each time it's being 'explained' I'm eye rolling and skim read past it!

Let's just say, if I wasn't reading to review this one I would have quit long ago. Second, it's taking me forever because I don't like it at all!!

I'm finding it very enlightening, especially the whole approach of not following fads, and parenting trends, of which there are many incl. food and what you eat etc, but to look to God and take your prompt in parenting from Him. However, so far most the examples have been the authors toddler age children... I was hoping for a bit more insight into the older age bracket, who have more issues than toddlers.
