I finished reading it and then immediately started over. I am obsessed with this book.

Dang I love this book so much

I tend to avoid short story collections and anthologies because inevitably there are one or two good stories and the rest are either okay or boring. So far I’ve enjoyed every story in this book. Plus they are super short, which I like very much.

This is a hard one to read.

The writing reminds me of The Elegance of the Hedgehog. ❤️

I’m only about 50 pages in but I’m struggling with a couple things.

1) The electric pink cover and the blurb on the back made me think this was a fast-paced girls-rule kind of book. It’s not.

2) The way the girls are treated at the high school is not believable and seems like a plot device.

Hopefully it will improve as the story goes on.
