I'm quitting. This honestly keeps getting worse. I wanted to like it so much but there's too many things. I was sucked in by the cover I should know better by now. Never pans out well.

Bored Now

I'm not sure about this book. I just can't connect to it. I know there's supposed to be 6 character perspectives so far we have 2 annoying characters 1 girl who's made to be a super fighter, one who is daughter of pirates and not allowed to join she desperately wants to and she's sequestered away. She's a bit annoying too. I'm so exhausted of the female characters being brutes.

Okay this book has just turned out to be really stupid. First of all the main character Kelsey is so insufferable. All the self-depreciation the passive aggressive commentary about how her tiger would prefer other women really really attention seeking even though he's done nothing but prove that he wants her. unrelenting it's getting even worse- pushing him away. And now the curse suddenly is partial he gets 6hours?

I know whats wrong with this book, for the most part I have been enjoying this book even though the writing is not very natural not very good the story itself captivated me. Love stories a bit convenient All that aside still enjoyed it.

But now we're getting into some parts where it is too hard to ignore how unnatural the interactions & dialogue is. Feels like characters are on stage waiting for their cue.

Eh quite disappointing. Very juvenile and petty. They are all in the same boat before school - there's a popular girl with hot BF. The new girl who's plain, and strapped with the social pariah and YET she's the most powerful has a destiny to rule the school. The popular girl hates her just because putting girls against each other. And new girl gets attention of popular girls BF.

I'm not sure Im liking the book of life as much, the fact that Diana can just wave her hand over something and know the right herbs. It's a little over powered and takes away the whole concept of having to learn the craft and the knowledge.

Why are everyone's names after characters in classic works! Dewinter, Galloway, Virginia wolf is mentioned? It's confusing and distracting are we supposed to be drawing a parallel to these characters or are they just names

Omg! So far this book is pretty interesting poetically written. Love it's short but doesnt feel short or rushed like it's skimping on anything. But the sex scenes are too much. The excessive descriptions don't add anything to the story. Why use the C**k and pu**y to describe body parts. It does t fit with the rest of poetic language.

The author makes Ariel out to be paranoid quick to jump to dramatic conclusions of danger. She's upset the police will not take her seriously she says she understands how it looks and people act irrationally when upset. But she can't give them a lick of information they are patient, listen to her ask logical Q's. She's begging for action.

2 small things. Embassy guy searches out phone which is off or nat taking calls. They coincidentally find it in a trash. Lame does t make sense. The husband's note is so bogus. Who shortens breakfast to B'fast? And doesn't write out full sentence. No believable.

Oh lord…

This is shaping up to be just the sort of book I was looking for!

This is one of those books I regret believing the dozens of YouTubers who say how amazing and fun this book is. It’s far too overhyped, and suffers from purpose. It’s clear that this is a romance forward book where the romance is dragging the plot along. Also, I can’t stand all the terrible similes called “beautiful” writing. Oleg they’re more cringy and useless.

Ew rapey dream scean… the writing style is just horrendous. I can’t.

Omg what is happening. Long graphic explanation about locking a man in the balls. So over the top.
