I'm liking the idea very much and I like C.D sooo much, and her Irish family..
Some things are really annoying though..
- Why is everyone talking over each other? And I mean every single person and there are a lot of people in the book
- It read so much like a Young adult even though it's not
- The FMC has no character or opinion and is really immature
- What is that relationship with Trent? Seriously?

seriously? SERIOUSLY?

It was stuffed with cupboards and counters and microscopes and tables, laden with koch dishes and books and every shape and size of furniture crowded into whatever space was left" is that supposed to be a discription?

they don't talk or act like it's a historical fiction ,

"aware of every muscle in his fingers" does fingers have muscles?
