Pretty good so far. Somewhat predictable but it’s a light, fun and easy read.

So far, really enjoying this book! Stayed up late reading and woke up to return to the intrigue of the V Games. I’m nearing the end of the final trials, Varick’s inexplicable draw to Selena (protagonist) is evident to all involved which has jeopardized their situations further. We don’t yet know the significance of what makes Selena so irresistible to the Vs but know all will soon be revealed.

Stopped mostly through because i read the stories I was most interested in before returning the book for another KU read.

As usual I’ve liked a good number of the short stories of this anthology and am sad at how brief they are. Wish some would have their own stand alone follow up.

So far the story and adventure of Tariel and crew has been exciting. As she continues to learn about her powers she is forced to devise a plan to rescue one of her mates/ travel companions from a dangerous den of thieves en route to the Empire. They’ve learned the thieves have a witch in their camp and have yet to attempt to breach the security to save their companion.

So far it’s interesting. Waiting to learn more of Aranaea’s mysterious past. Not gonna lie, it’s frustrating how many times she is just carted around nearly against her will and promised answers or safety but literally no one ever provides straight answers. Hoping the wait will have been worth it...

I’m listening to this on audio and am in chapter 59 of 79. This is a much slower paced book than I’m used to, so I keep coming back to at times while driving.

I’ve become impatient with the progress of this book and set it aside temporarily, in favor of another series. It’s been a long time since I read fantasy/paranormal books with vampire and mage characters. The vampire storyline of the 1st book was more exciting. I’m trying to see how the Druid storyline plays out but I’m eager to get back to the vampire story with the king trials.

So far the book is off to a good start for the third installment. Have to say I’m eager to see how this final book in the trilogy will turn out since it’s a bit shorter than the two previous books. The previous books had such a slow burn regarding Norah and the harem that I’m a little concerned the development of their relationship may feel rushed.

Pretty good so far. Just getting into more of the meat of the story. Reed is getting closer to uncovering the true connection of the main characters. Him getting closer to solving the riddle means jeopardizing his new relationship with Lori.

So far pretty good. On chapter 8.

Told from multi-viewpoint with good flow.
