Book 3 is 3 stars still, but it's a really enjoyable 3 stars. The book skimmed past the pregnancy and the birth, which is practically the reason for a full star in an mpreg romance. Thus, a 4-star tale had to drop down to 3 stars.

I also would have loved an epilogue that actually has Mason in it, instead of a mention.

Book 2 is just full of tropes I dislike. I'm amazed I managed to finish it. Maybe that indicates that people who love those tropes would find this book amazing. Me, I think I need to switch to something else for a bit.

3 stars for book 1 in the bundle. My eyes rolled too much at some super corny attitudes and phrases. However, I liked their relationships with their families and I liked the training and the final battle.

Book 3 was very sweet and satisfying. So many happy couples at the end of the war... LoL

The finale bad guy was nowhere as complex and interesting as first book bad guy though. That bit's disappointing.

Book Two is a bit tighter than Book One. Or at least easier to follow, plot-wise. Ends on a cliffhanger, which is terrible. I'm glad I went with the complete series book instead of getting individual books.

Thinking of this book as high fantasy instead of romance enabled me to reach the end of Book 1. With POVs from Tristram, Gillian, Bet, Rhiannon, Sidonie, Hafgan, and even one from Roland, this is one complicated court tale. POLITICKING! I love it. Also, there were no good guys and bad guys. There were only political factions of varying insanity levels.

The short story was obviously erotica. Quite vanilla though. It being a bear shifter in "hibernation," I would have thought some somnophilia would be in play, but nope. Poor Caleb got harrassed into waking up to do all the work.

Book 3 was 4 stars. It was fun and exciting, but as a fan of Sam Burns and W.M. Fawkes' politicking plots, it would have been fun to see what shenanigans Malcolm and Kostas would get into against Elrith.

Book 2 is a full five stars because SWEET, SILLY DRAGON. I was completely emotionally manipulated by book 2 and it was five stars.

First book was your typical self-hating MCs who have to get over themselves to find the confidence to stay with each other. It was a slow and boring start, but cute and sweet finish. Would have loved more.

First book: 3 stars.

Book 4 was not as good as books 2 and 3, because I didn't enjoy their idiocy. Not remembering that a human can't withstand dragon food. Refusing to inform about their illness until they fainted and got hospitalized. While the author did a good job making these idiocy characteristics understandable, I still didn't enjoy it.

Book 3 was really nice. I love a reformed rake, particularly when the rake can get pregnant. The pregnancy phobia was an interesting twist, but I wish my phobias could resolve that easily. I would have preferred a groveling MIL over an easily-resolved phobia, but I'm not the author and this book did not give me my preference. It was nonetheless a nice romance.

Book 2 was superior to book 1. I really liked that there was a failed fated pair to SHOW that being fated was no guarantee of HEA. The only disappointment was insufficient groveling....

First book was very much a debut-author book. The beginning made me want to smack the main characters and the end was formulaic, but there were bits in the story that shone and you could see where these authors' later books came from.

Zane birthday fics are violently sweet. LoL

More smut. Rimming a USD50k ass and whining about how to explain the expense to the Mulvaney accountant. Rich people problems indeed.

Of course they can't even have a discussion about whether to be parents or not without getting smutty.

I don't understand why the title is Conference Calls when there was only one conference call. But it was a very smutty minific.

Are You Drunk, Baby? is a ridiculous title for a wonderfully, smutty and sweet poly minific.

Omg, Jake the snake, second Maniac minific was my favourite so far! I'm a little sad there were no minifics involving Aiden under the Maniac chapter, though.

The first Maniac minific is the first minific in the book without smut! It's melancholic and eye-rolling, though, from Thomas's POV before he finally gave in to Aiden.

The final Moonstruck minific is yet more smut while the kids were being babysat by Noah and Adam.

Honey, I'm Home is yet another smut Moonstruck minific, with a slight advertisement for Paladin.

Jericho v Kendra, the first Moonstruck minific was just smut with no plot, but a little romantic sweetness.

Snitches Get Stitches was a bit more disturbing, showing how the Mulvaneys are influencing the next generation to be vigilantes too. But I guess, better vigilantes than world dictators...

Family Life, first Psycho mini-fic, is not as good as Bridezilla, but it's sweet enough. Along with sexy times, we get a glimpse of Cricket, August and Lucas as co-parents to the twins.

Bridezilla, the Unhinged mini-fic, was very sweet. With a title of Bridezilla, you'd think it was about horrible behaviour, but instead James addresses an underlying issue for possible bridezilla behaviour: wanting to belong and be accepted.

Book 4 is amazing. The fae is this world are super capricious. It's fascinating.

But err why do characters always have to level up to ridiculous levels?

Book 3 is an easy 4 stars. It's only not 5 stars because even though I read this book in the heat of a country 1 degree off the equator, I could imagine those freezing temperatures of this book way too realistically. Also, I have difficulty believing that people would go out in that kind of cold without a coat. Something's wrong with Kelly.

Finished book 2. I cannot rate book 2 because it turned out to be a horror/suspense novel, not action/adventure. I do not like being scared. My emotional masochism prefers humiliation, not fear, thanks.

Despite that, this book was gripping. Couldn't stop reading until I reached the end of book 2, even though it's past 3 in the morning.
