curse my book club for forcing me back into academia, my brain is melting

this is such a man book

this kind of killed the magic and nostalgia for me. i could write a thesis on how i feel about uncreative graphic novel adaptations.

laura jane grace quote in a trans ya novel,, i love it

“the price is simply too high to live chasing cures, because in doing so, i’m missing living my life.” i have never seen chronic pain articulated so well dear god i’m floored

i started this book like oh this is a cool glimpse into politics and now i’m full on sobbing on public transit over the fucked up state of ~everything~

having to sprint off the train to throw up while reading a book about chronic illness is so girlie pop

this book is crushing my soul!!

oh this is just heathers but more sapphic

holy fuck this is so personal it hurts

i’m suing this book for making me cry so much

piss kink might be my breaking point for this book

this is genuinely the grossest book i’ve ever read, i almost gagged reading this. i’m going to fight the person that recommended it

something about the way he says “gays” instead of gay people doesn’t sit right with me

“in time i will learn to love myself, and that’s enough.”

reading this after watching next to normal might kill me

i know i’m listening to this at work but i should take a shot everytime he says “my fellow americans”

was not expecting the word bisexual to be in the first chapter of this book

i think i need to start writing selection fanfic again

maybe i should read the bridgerton books because i’m living for the romantic tension, the stolen glances, the fake flirting

ace representation?? love that for her

this is giving me war flashbacks to being on tumblr during the dan and phil drama

this is… the craziest thing i’ve ever read?? how did society let this happen?

books in 2nd person pov drive me absolutely crazy, i’m losing my mind

“if someone gets to know who you are and decides not to be in your life, it is not an admonishment of who you are; it does not diminish your inherent value.”
