As a nurse this is absolutely ridiculous. “Sexy Surgeon”? What adult female would think of a possible love interest as such? It’s so juvenile. The protagonist is on the verge of being incompetent. The best thing about this experience is I did the audiobook and it was short. Definitely not comical as stated in reviews.

Started off really good. About halfway through it slows down to a crawl.

I don’t like how the characters were quite normal in the first two books, and then change their personalities in book three. The characters have become mean spirited. I don’t like them the way I did in the first two books.

I wish authors would stick to ONE topic. Hitting every single cause is so annoying to me. So far it’s LGBTQ, API hate, WWII, Nazi youth, two-mom family, and throw in COVID for good measure. It’s too much.

I don’t love it. I’m not even sure if I like it. It’s a slog.

Very tough read. But Due is such a great storyteller that it goes quite fast. She has such a great way with words.
