Chapter 26 was....dark, and graphic, and gross. Sometimes too much so. I get the gritty harshness that Reid is going for but it could've been brought back. A couple points seemed like it was graphic for graphics sake. The major glimpse into Agnes's story was revealing but I want to know more about her mother/their relationship. Does Agnes regret what she did to her sibling? Is that putting too much goodness on Agnes?

Because of all the warnings the author has given, I get scared everytime I read this because I'm waiting for the awful things to pop up lol. I'm weary about Liuprand. Either he'll become an awful person somehow or die tragically. No way this series, let alone this book, ends with him alive and happy with Agnes.

Okay but why did Declan want to introduce Ashley to Gansey in the first place? Like why was this so important it had to be like a set appointment? It's plainly said that Declan and Gansey aren't friends so.....??
