Madeline is a pastry chef from a small NC fishing town. When chosen to be on a food competition to win $50k for her business she jumps at the choice. On her first night she meets Luke this hot tattooed up guy. Dwight hates Max because in high school he put an ornament on the town tree wishing his girlfriend would be cancer free. For the it’s ment to be gone, she died right after Christmas and determined he stole it. He goes off on Betty.

At the Christmas Cupid they keep kissing under the mistletoe getting to know eachother more. She doesn’t know what Dwight has against him.

Betty and Max are forced time together after Storee makes a plan for Flo to have a diaper blowout during the fruitcake competition. Max confesses that he really likes her and drives her home when her car won't start, she sees he's a good guy.

Max decides he’s going to booby trap Betty until she falls in love with him to stop her from taking his tree farm away with Dwight his enemy.

Max hears new people moving onto the land by his. In a moment of idiocy he tries to sneak to peak where he is met with a 2-literally to the face and arrest of 3rd degree trespassing.

Betty who threw the bottle lives there on her Uncle Dwight’s farm who wants to open another tree farm.

Max wakes up to his parents gone they leave him the tree farm as they go to Europe WITHOUT TELLING HIM.

Cole finds out it was Taran who destoryed the lights.
They both confess they are in love.

Aunt Cindy never hurt her hip or cared for the competition. It was a ploy to get Tara and Storee together.

Taran stole his lights.
Max is convience that Storee has been playing him this entire time.
Storee has coordinated for everyone to fix Cole’s lights.

Cole wins the singing competition with a dedication to his parents

After she gets third in the candy cane competition and a few days apart he invites her to the farm and rubs a candy cane on her while he fucks her against a pole

They go from decorating to dry humping in front of the fire

Cole buys a tree for Storee. It is the first year since his parents died he wants one. She comes in to help decorate where he shoes how preserved the home is, how he still sleeps in his teenage room in the attic with sheets on furniture.

On the way to learn how to make candy canes Storee swerves off the road in the snow and freaks out, Cole saves her. He reveals his parents died in a snowstorm the day she left 10 years ago.

After they drive home and have a moment she leaves. To return later and end the night in a makeout hinting to wanting even more

After a first fake date ended in a kiss under the mistletoe, Cole can't get the kiss out of his mind.

The fruitcake competition ends in her blowing the judges out of the water while he lays on the fliration thick.

Cole decides to fake pressure her into a date so the rumor train would start…then she says yes

Storee unscrews a light messing with Cole’s light display.

They go off on each other revealing he had a crush on her.
