I'm only on chapter 16 and to be honest I'm kind of struggling with this one. I LOVED the first two books in this series but I just don't care as much for the soul catcher plot, and it's kind of put me into a reading slump?

So far, this is fantastic and I‘m loving every second of reading it. Finally picking this up was definitely the right choice!

2019 is the year I finally decided to read An Ember in the Ashes. After all the hype, I am so ready for this series to be THE fantasy series I fall in love with this year, just like The Bone Season was last year.

I just wanted to read the first page but ended up finishing the first story. Loved it and can't wait to continue!

Rereading the first book wasn't the most fun to be honest and I skipped a lot of parts. I'm enjoying this one SO MUCh more though and really happy to be rereading it!

So far, to be honest, this is pretty bad. I loved the previous books even though I was aware that they are full of clichés and drama and all of that. I still found them addicting to read and enjoyed them for what they were. This one, however, is almost unbearable. I‘m not very far in at all and it‘s already just too much. Not sure what I‘m going to do.

I reread Fangirl to get over Our Dark Duet, and now I'm rereading Carry On because Fangirl made me do it.

So I'm not THAT into it yet? Intrigued, yes, and not as creepy as I thought it would be (at least so far). But the romance is definitely not living up to what I've heard and it's bothering me.

I'm really enjoying this so far and have no clue where it's going.

This is just as amazingly brilliant the second time arount.

Rereading this in preparation for A Conjuring of Light which is already on its way into my hands and I CANNOT WAIT. This is the perfect opportunity to reread this amazing book and I couldn't be more excited.

All I want to do is read this book but I also don't want to read it because I don't want it to ever end.
